Targeting Keywords To Rank Higher On Search
While Arkayne’s related links do not use keyword tagging, this is exactly what search engines will use when figuring out what your site is all about. Because of this, if you want to drive new traffic/leads from search engines it is important that every section of your site is optimized. To help you do this, Arkayne does give you tools, however first you need to figure out what you should be optimizing for.
Identify your keywords
Identifying the keywords that will be best for your SEO should be your first step. When coming up with a list, try typing your keyword candidates into google to see who else ranks for them. Also, keep in mind the “long tail” and try and get creative with the keywords you choose. Although they might get half of the searches than the more popular words, they are much easier to rank for.
Input your target keyword list
From your Arkayne back end, under the SEO tab, select “Target Keyword List”. Here, you can enter the keywords that you are trying to optimize for, you will even get recommendations for other keywords . Once your keywords have been analyzed, when running an SEO analysis on your post, Arkayne will check to ensure that you are using your target keywords in your titles, descriptions, and content; the most important parts of SEO.
